DoITT provides for the sustained, efficient and effective delivery of IT services, infrastructure and telecommunications to enhance service delivery to New York City’s residents, businesses, employees and visitors. As the City’s technology leader, DoITT is responsible for maintaining the foundational IT infrastructure and systems that touch every aspect of City life from public safety to human services, from education to economic development crossing the full spectrum of governmental operations. The Identity and Access Management (IAM) team seeks a highly motivated individual with the following specifications to support and managed various IAM technologies including Microsoft Active Directory, Active Directory Federation Services, Azure Active Directory and Centrify Privileged Access Management. Responsibilities will include: â¢ Work with IT Infrastructure and application teams to migrate privileged accounts from legacy to enterprise systems, and local Unix to AD accounts, and clean up local UNIX accounts and disable accounts in legacy systems; â¢ Resolve local Unix UID and GID conflicts; â¢ Respond to assigned tickets within SLAs, escalate complex issues to Senior Engineers and team leaders â¢ Act as first line of response for basic operational Incidents and Requests â¢ Provide basic engineering support for PAM agents in all *NIX environments; â¢ Provide basic engineering support for PAM/IAM backend infrastructure; â¢ Support and onboard servers and users to PAM services; â¢ Basic support of Windows 2012/2016/2019 server- Forest, Domain trust, AD, DFS, DNS, WINS, DHCP, Group Policy, Distribution lists, Windows folder security, and IP filter; â¢ Basic support of a hybrid multi-tenant Microsoft Azure and Office 365, Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform environments; â¢ Administer various Identity Access management (IAM), Role Based Access Control (RBAC), and Privileged Access Management (PAM) ); and â¢ Handle special projects and initiatives as assigned.
Minimum Qual Requirements:
1. A baccalaureate degree, from an accredited college including or supplemented by twenty-four (24) semester credits in cyber security, network security, computer science, computer programming, computer engineering, information technology, information science, information systems management, network administration, or a pertinent scientific, technical or related area; or 2. A four-year high school diploma or its equivalent approved by a Stateâs department of education or a recognized accrediting organization and three years of satisfactory experience in any of the areas described in â1â above; or 3. Education and/or experience equivalent to â1â or â2â, above. College education may be substituted for up to two years of the required experience in â2â above on the basis that sixty (60) semester credits from an accredited college is equated to one year of experience. In addition, twenty-four (24) credits from an accredited college or graduate school in cyber security, network security, computer science, computer programming, computer engineering, information technology, information science, information systems management, network administration, or a pertinent scientific, technical or related area; or a certificate of at least 625 hours in computer programming from an accredited technical school (post high school), may be substituted for one year of experience.
The preferred candidate should possess the following: â¢ High-level knowledge and experience with Windows 2008/2012/2016 server – Forest, Domain trust, AD,DFS, DNS, WINS, DHCP, Group Policy; â¢ Experience in working Hybrid Multi-cloud, Multi-tenant environment including Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, GCP and AWS â¢ Basic understanding of cloud architecture on Azure, AWS and/or Google; â¢ General knowledge and experience across business, security, application, information, integration, UX and infrastructure architecture domains; â¢ General understanding of DevOps concepts and tools.

Day – Due to the necessary support duties of this position in a 24/7 operation, candidate may be required to work various shifts such as weekends and/or nights/evenings.
Work Location 1:
New York City residency is generally required within 90 days of appointment. However, City Employees in certain titles who have worked for the City for 2 continuous years may also be eligible to reside in Nassau, Suffolk, Putnam, Westchester, Rockland, or Orange County.
