70.1 TRANSFER QUALIFICATIONS:
One year of permanent, contingent permanent, or 55 B/C service allocated to a Grade 6 or higher eligible for transfer and determined to be similar by Civil Service.
55 B/C QUALIFICATIONS:
Individuals certified eligible for the 55 B/C program under the Governor’s Program to Hire Persons/Veterans with Disabilities pursuant to Section 55 B/C of the Civil Service Law will also be considered. To be considered, you must provide a copy of your letter of eligibility with your response.
PROVISIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Based on the results of the canvass of the current eligible list for the Business Document Specialist 1 the Department may elect to make a provisional appointment to this position rather than a permanent appointment. If a provisional appointment is made, the appointed candidate will be required to compete in the next holding of the Beginning Office Assistant exam and be reachable for appointment from the newly established eligible list.
Duties Description
The Business Document Specialist 1/Trainee duties in the Division of Corporations, State Records & Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) will include but are not limited to the following:
Answer phone calls from the public using the VCC phone system and enter call information into the CRM.
Search corporate documents and process requests submitted by the public and service companies.
Process credit card transactions for requests submitted to the Division of Corporations.
Print individual operator cash report and verify such report with fees processed.
