If you are located in New York, you will have the flexibility to work remotely* as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
Report to a Director of Intergovernmental & Program Operations to support Behavioral Health deliverables for NY UnitedHealthcare C&S lines of business
Attend relevant stakeholder, planning, and advocacy meetings to ensure that the Plan is compliant with the State’s requirements for managed delivery of Behavioral Health (BH) services and is aware of any new State or local BH initiatives
Collaborate with government partners, community-based providers, and other stakeholders to operationalize new benefits/benefit expansions and State guidance or initiatives
Work closely across matrix to implement new benefits or changes to current benefit, and act as a resource by providing implementation leadership/support, managing information and data, and ongoing consultation during transitions
Facilitate regular and ad hoc reporting oversight including
Acting as a SME for internal dashboard and reporting systems
Prepare routine and ad hoc State and internal reports highlighting utilization, outcomes, and cost, as well as tracking initiatives and performance improvement projects
Prepare and submit State reports
Facilitate monthly touch points with SMEs and project leads to adjust reporting points on project changes and provide updates and identify risks and opportunities
Identify reporting and data gaps, risks, and inefficiencies
Support clinical and quality efforts, including helping to shape initiatives, identify potential partners and track outcomes
Work on special projects focused on population health management and value optimization
Represent the company and its interests at various internal and external meetings, and other regular and ad hoc convenings

Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in Managed Care and/or behavioral health service delivery in NYS
Familiarity with 1 or more of the following: Office of Mental Health (OMH), Office of Addiction Services and Support (OASAS), Department of Health (DOH), Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) behavioral health service delivery
Moderate Excel knowledge; comfort using Excel and similar applications on a routine basis
Moderate knowledge of Power Point
Ability to travel to meetings across NY – travel 25%
Residence in the state of New York
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of the Mainstream Medicaid, Health and Recovery Plan (HARP), Essential Plan, Child Health (CHPlus), Integrated Care Plans Dual (IB Duals) line of business and understanding of the complexities that impact members and service utilization via Managed Care experience and/or history of delivering Medicaid reimbursed behavioral health services
Solid written and oral communication skills
Solid organization and analytical skill
Self-directed/motived to complete assignments

New York Residents Only: The salary range for New York residents is $70,200 to $137,800 annually.
