Ontario County is currently seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Office Specialist II position. The selected candidate will be appointed on a provisional basis pending a civil service exam to be held at a later date.
Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma AND one (1) year of full-time paid, or its part-time equivalent, office clerical experience.
NOTE: Completion of one year of college with study in secretarial science, office technologies, business administration or closely related field may be substituted for the required experience as noted above; with 30 credit hours being equivalent to one year of experience.
Salary: $16.90/hr with comprehensive benefits package including paid holidays, paid leave, 2% match to deferred compensation, full health and dental insurance, wellness program, EAP, professional development training, and NYS Retirement pension.
