Permanent Transfer Candidates: Current NYS employee with one year of permanent or contingent-permanent competitive service in a qualified title G-16 or higher and eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 or 70.4 of the Civil Service Law.

A strong desire to learn both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team and apply knowledge to sustainable improvements.
Duties Description
As the program’s Enforcement Coordinator, the incumbent will run monthly reports identifying qualifying violations, process referrals according to regulatory standards including the calculation of recommended penalties, maintain a SharePoint based list detailing such referrals and the status thereof; manage a public-facing shared mailbox wherein facilities may communicate their programmatic inquiries, develop appropriate responses to such inquiries; and perform character and competency reviews upon request and communicate information appropriately to help inform licensure and/or certification decisions; and maintain the applicable policies and procedures. Additionally, the incumbent will evaluate available data to inform policy, follow-through on such policy, and maintain appropriate documentation to support policy development; generate citations where appropriate and follow-through accordingly. Depending on programmatic need, the incumbent will perform other duties as assigned to support the team, including review for regulatory compliance and quality assurance facility-developed information including policies and procedures, residency agreements, and plans of correction, and prepare proper communication to such facilities outlining a determination on the material submitted.
