Current registration with the Commission of Dietetics Registration (CDR) as an Registered Dietitian or certification in Dietetics-Nutrition by the NYSED; and one year of post-registration/certification professional administrative experience in a food or nutrition program, one year of which must have been at a supervisory level.
Oversee, manage and administer food and dietetic programs for individuals* in State facilities. Plan, organize, and direct food preparation and service clinical dietetic program activities, such as nutrition counsel, menu development, and food safety and sanitation operations, develop and implement nutrition policies and procedures; supervise the activities of dietitians, and other food and nutrition services staff; and monitor program operations to ensure the nutritional health and well-being of individuals served and are compliance with established standards, laws, rules and regulations.
